Saturday 14th July
VENUE: Oldham RUFC, Byrth Road, Oldham. OL8 2TJ
‘When I were a lad, me old man used to say let’s go Over’Tops’.
We have two rolling routes designed with the usual inimitable Polocini flair. And even some cobbles. We don’t aim for a set distance of say 100miles, the route is designed to flow properly.
Have a look at our event reviews page for details of last years ride.
At Polocini we pride ourselves on being THE best value sportives in the UK. For full details of what to expect for your £22 entry fee, have a look at the Polocini Standard
We will be using timing by STRAVA at the event and the long route features timed climbs of Shibden Wall as featured in 100climbs Cragg Vale which is the longest continuous gradient in England.
51 Miles – This route takes in some stunning scenery. But doesn’t contain the tough climbs of the longer route. http://www.mapmyride.com/routes/view/36482640
73 Miles – http://www.mapmyride.com/routes/view/36479262
Entry fee: £22
The event is run to British Cycling guidelines and we use the B.C rider insurance scheme.
The event is limited to 300 riders with NO entries on the line.
There is a hotel located straight out the event headquarters www.smokies.co.uk
